The Montana Hill Guest Ranch is a working cattle ranch nestled on over 500 acres of gentle hills and pine trees in beautiful British Columbia. This package offers you a chance to step away from the everyday and experience the rugged beauty and warm hospitality of ranch life.

Enjoy a 3-night stay in a cozy, 1-bedroom rustic log cabin that can accommodate up to 4 people, making it a perfect family getaway. After a day of exploring, imagine coming “home” to a private hot tub, grilling your dinner on your own barbecue, and watching a star-filled sky from your deck. Each cabin comes with a gas fireplace and a kitchenette, giving you the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.

What’s a ranch without horses? You won’t have that problem here. This package includes a 1-hour horseback riding experience with a 1-hour horseback riding lesson per person. Whether you are a new or experienced rider, there will be a well-trained ranch horse that fits your level of experience. The owner, Al, will make sure new riders are shown the basics, ensuring a pleasant and safe ride.

Beyond the trails, experience true ranch life with activities like cow milking, cheese making, and group bonfires. Or, choose your own adventure with axe throwing, archery, hiking, and mountain biking. In the winter, you can even enjoy snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Each morning, you’ll be treated to a full gourmet breakfast, setting you up for a day of adventure.

What is this?

Live Auction – Part of the evening where supporters will be encouraged to use their paddles to actively bid on the auction items at the same time.

Silent Auction – Items that are displayed on the Silent auction tables and on the electronic platforms for active bidding through out the time allowed for the silent auction. A “buy now” price may also be included in this auction.

Vacation Station – Trips that are typically set with a buy it now price in a section of the Silent Auction. Not to conflict with travel experiences in the Live Auction, we are looking for not the highest bidder, rather a multiple purchases of the same trip.

Raffle / Golden Ticket – Set price however there is not a set number of tickets to be sold with 1 winner to be chosen for the prize.

Other – Will be other revenue enhancers.

Terms of Use and Blackout Dates

Detailed instructions will be included on the issued certificate. Valid September 1 through June 30. Subject to availability. Book within 12 months and complete travel within 18 months of purchase. Reservations must be booked at least 90 days in advance. The ranch is located approximately a five-hour drive from Vancouver, BC, and an hour and a half north of Kamloops. Special bus service from Vancouver is also available. The primary traveler must be at least 21 years old. All bookings are non-cancellable, non-modifiable (i.e., changes to travelers and dates), and non-transferrable. Airfare, transfers, meals and activities are not included unless specifically listed under Trip Details.
