You’ll head into the countryside with an expert guide and a trained dog to find truffles of your own, then sit down to a farmhouse lunch built entirely around what you dug up.
The hunt is yours to enjoy: guided by someone who knows the ground, and a dog trained to sniff out what’s hidden beneath it, you’ll search the Tuscan countryside for truffles yourself. From there, it’s on to a nearby farmhouse, where lunch is built around the day’s find — truffles prepared and served where you can taste exactly what you spent the day digging for. Transportation for the hunt isn’t included, but it’s available upon request.
Home base is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom villa in the Cortona area of Tuscany, right on the border with Umbria, with a private pool, a professional kitchen, and air conditioning throughout — properties like Villa Lavanda, Villa Santa Lucia, and Villa Silena are typical examples, though the exact property depends on availability for your dates. Electricity, heating, final cleaning, and utilities are all taken care of, and a concierge is on hand to add extra activities to your stay.

Accommodation is subject to availability for the requested dates. Should any of the listed villas be unavailable, other similar properties with the same standards and characteristics may be proposed in order to accommodate your specific date requirements. Stays run for 7 nights on a fixed weekly turnover, with the specific check-in and check-out day set by the assigned villa. Check-in is from 4pm to 7pm; check-out is by 10am. For check-in after 7pm there is a fee of €50. Electricity, heating, air conditioning, final cleaning, and utilities are included. A tourist tax of €2.50 per person, per night applies for a maximum of 4 consecutive nights and is payable on site; the tax does not apply to children under 12 years old. Reservations must be booked 90 days in advance of travel. Reservations must be booked within 12 months and travel must be completed within 24 months from the date of purchase. Packages may not be transferred or resold. There are no blackout dates. Airfare, transportation, meals, and activities are not included unless specifically listed under Trip Details.
