Trip Code: DT181
This 1-night Northern California river getaway for 2 offers a 6-hour private guided fishing charter on the historic Delta. You will stay at the Best Western Plus Delta Inn & Suites in Oakley, California, with daily breakfast and hotel taxes fully covered.
Your 6-hour charter launches straight out of Pittsburg, California, where the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers meet to form a legendary triangle of tidal channels. This massive network of historic waterways looks almost exactly as it did 130 years ago, casting a magical spell on outdoor adventurers. You will cruise through these scenic river currents to target hard-fighting spring and fall-run Striped Bass alongside a local guide.
The ultimate thrill of this getaway is the chance to hook a massive White Sturgeon—an ancient, 20-foot relic from a lost age of monsters. This specialized, world-class fishery runs from October through April to put your group on the water during peak migration windows. Your guide provides the boat, bait, and all the tackle you need for the fight.
