Live Auction – Part of the evening where supporters will be encouraged to use their paddles to actively bid on the auction items at the same time.

Silent Auction – Items that are displayed on the Silent auction tables and on the electronic platforms for active bidding through out the time allowed for the silent auction. A “buy now” price may also be included in this auction.

Golden Ticket – Set number of tickets sold at a set price with the drawing awarding 1 winner a grand prize.

Raffle – Set price however there is not a set number of tickets to be sold with 1 winner to be chosen for the prize.

Other – Will be other revenue enhancers.

Terms of Use and Blackout Dates

Package includes what is listed above, 13% rental tax, cleaning fee, on-site concierge, executive chef, and customized itinerary. The package is based on 14 guests (can add up-to-18 guests for discounted fee). 2 years from opening date to book. Blackout dates include the Months of January & February, & the weeks before and after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter.

If a Guest cancels prior to 90 days of arrival, and requests to re-book there is a rebooking fee required of a 20% from the total of the contract. The rebooked week must be within 12 months of the original booking date. The fee is required at time of re-booking. There will be a 50% cancellation refund of the current deposit at time of cancellation if prior to 90 days from arrival. Any bookings cancelled under 90 days from arrival will not be refunded and any deposit will apply to another week within one calendar year from original booked date only. It is highly recommended that every Guest purchase third party travel insurance to cover any unfortunate emergencies, natural disasters and global pandemics that may occur. The only exception of a 100% refund is when there is a government issued mandatory travel restriction from your home country or Costa Rica with regards to airlines or country borders being closed. The only exceptions are bookings prior and after the holidays which are non-refundable and non-transferable due to high demands of those weeks. Airfare, meals, and activities are not included unless specifically listed under Trip Details.
