Three nights in Rome, two guests, and one experience nobody else in the room will have: VIP seating within the first ten rows of the Wednesday Papal Audience, close enough to be within touching distance of His Holiness. Two full private tour days, six hours each, build the rest of the story, tracing the city’s ancient wonders and its most sacred ground.
The first day belongs to ancient and baroque Rome. You’ll skip the line straight into the Colosseum, walk the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, then wind through the city’s grand piazzas and fountains with a private guide who knows every story behind them. Then comes the moment this trip is really about: the Wednesday Papal Audience itself, with a personal assistant who escorts you to your seats and stays on-site throughout. Afterward, a private guide brings you through the Vatican’s grandest rooms: the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, the Upper Galleries, the Gallery of the Candelabra, the Gallery of Tapestries, the Gallery of Maps, and the Raphael Rooms, ending among the treasures of St. Peter’s Basilica.
Home base is a five-star hotel in the heart of Rome, the kind of place like the Baglioni Hotel Regina or Hotel Splendide Royal, with breakfast waiting every morning. A private Mercedes V-Class with an English-speaking driver picks you up from the airport and stays on call each evening from 7:30 to 10:30pm, so getting to dinner is never a thing you have to think about.
This experience is available year round, with the Papal Audience held on Wednesdays only, subject to availability. This experience cannot be booked in July or August and must be booked and redeemed within 18 months of the voucher start date. Airport transfers are included; flights are not. Access to certain Vatican areas, including the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Library, may vary due to religious ceremonies or special events. Meals, drinks, and gratuities for guides, drivers, and staff are not included.
