The picturesque Bordeaux wine region is home to some of the oldest vineyards and finest wines in the world. Since December 1999, the Appellation of Saint-Emilion in Bordeaux has been listed as a “cultural landscape” on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the first wine-growing region to be awarded this distinction. The splendid town of St. Emilion dates back to the 8th century and is a UNESCO World Heritage site, built entirely of locally mined limestone.
Located 5 minutes from the village of Saint Emilion in the middle of the world-famous Bordeaux vineyards and the banks of the Dordogne River, this 5 bedroom completely restored stone property dates back to the 14th century. It now features all modern conveniences for an enjoyable stay. The property is surrounded by vineyards, woods and gardens and has a large pool with an outdoor kitchen. You will be treated to a food and wine pairing of the Grand Cru Estate wines from the Château.
